Duke of Gloucester criticised over wind farm plan

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/energy/windpower/8946617/Duke-of-Gloucester-criticised-over-wind-farm-plan.html

Interesting comment

Quote
Have some compassion! The poor Duke of Gloucester gambled away all his money on Lloyds of London, hoping to turn an honest penny by raking in an income without ever having to put up the capital - but it didn't work out for him.
So then he had to lease out the old family home and beg a grace & favour apartment at Kensington Palace from his cousin.
So now that he doesn't live at Barnwell any more, why all the uproar about him spoiling the landscape? After all, it is his landscape, and like all large landowners he's a true guardian of the countryside. And why shouldn't he make a few quid of out of the Government's scheme to put a large proportion of the population into fuel poverty to fund a system of electricity generation that is vastly expensive and pays out handsome dividends to landowners and foreign-owned energy companies?
What's not to like about that?

The People are sick of subsidising wind farms....

....  besides he could always ask Charles to ask his friends for money, as he did for Camilla after Lloyds.

Richard is a thoroughly nice chap and does do royal duties.

At the time of Lloyds of London crash.. Camilla Parker Bowles was one of the "names" ..she lost approx three hundred thousand pounds.

Friends of Charles, were asked by him, to help her out.

This info was on the Truth about Lloyds site.. which has now mysteriously disapeared.

However, many bios also mention this.

Then amazingly she bought Raymill House.

 She bought it for £850,000
located in Lacock which is near Chippenham, Wiltshire.
It's a 30-minute drive from Highgrove.
£1.8 million of taxpayers money has been spent on 30-weeks work for "renovations"

Lady Davina's baby boy (born 25 May 2012) has been named - he's Tane Mahuta Lewis, very prestigious Maori names, Tane Mahuta means King of the Forest (and we have a lot of forest here in NZ).

Agreed. The Duchess of Gloucester is one of the silent heroes of the RF. Hard-working, always supportive of the Queen and ever stylish.

This is a normal event for her. She rarely misses a Davis Cup as she is the Patron of the British Tennis Association. She attends more tennis than any other member of the BRF. The Duke of Kent is the only other person who has regularly attended tennis matches in an official capacity this century - although the Duchess used to also do so. They attended Wimbledon as the Duke is the President of the All England Club.

Kate has yet to attend any tennis in an official capacity - although that will change this year when she attends Wimbledon as the Patron of the All England Club.

The Potato Head should never be the patron of anything. She is a complete and total embarrassment. She makes stupid utterances, flaps her lobster claw man hands about with big blue front and center, juts out her jaw, flips her spaniel fake hair about and last but not least smashes her hands/clutches against her foul crotch constantly. Constantly. Now may I ask you.......would you want to shake her hand?huh?? Imagine what she does with it in private when no one is looking! Ugh! She is one disgusting ill-bred female.
