The good thing on Kate Middleton is, that she didn´t changed her look!

But the future Princess of Monaco is an example for "what would you do for the title". And Albert is IMO the one who pays the surgeries. It´s a pity. She changed herself so much.

Monaco royalty to visit Ireland
http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/latest-irish-news/Monaco-royalty-to-visit-Ireland.6741982.jp
Quote
Prince Albert II of Monaco will make a two-day state visit to Ireland next week.
The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed Prince Albert and his fiancee Charlene Wittstock will attend a series of events in Dublin and Galway from Monday April 4.

His trip takes place 50 years after his late father and mother, Prince Rainier III and Hollywood actress Princess Grace, visited Ireland in 1961.

Officials said the programme for the visit will reflect the long-standing ties between Ireland and Monaco and will underline the potential for future co-operation in the areas of business, the environment, research, education, tourism and culture.

I doubt that they will get the attention that Grace got. But being the first official visit of Charlene will be interesting to see.

I liked the dress, too. But Charlene looks very good in casual dresses. Glamour doesn´t fit to her.

thumbsup I've always liked Charlene and now even more after I saw her interview (link on another thread). That's a down-to-earth, classy lady! They met once and they met again five years later and their romance blossomed. It's not as if she knew where the Prince was and chased after him. That was pure destiny. I wish all happiness to her and Prince Albert.
I agree ,and I think she will be a  Great Princess of Monaco. Kiss

Prince Albert brings touch of class and ceremony to Dublin
http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2011/0405/1224293869641.html
Quote
The 53-year-old prince laughed and admitted: “I am not a very good economist myself . . . we have talked about it and I really wish the Government the best of success through these difficult times”.

Prince Albert, wearing a shamrock festooned tie, had met Taoiseach Enda Kenny (bright green tie) earlier at Áras an Uachtaráin where he was greeted warmly by President Mary McAleese, Martin McAleese and an Irish reception party that included Ireland’s Ambassador to Monaco, Paul Kavanagh, Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan and Defence Forces Chief of Staff Lieut Gen Seán McCann.

Waving Ireland and Monaco flags in the April showers and sunshine, schoolchildren from St Joseph’s national school in Kilmessan, Co Meath, seemed thrilled to be meeting the prince. Persistent Molly McWeeney (12) was particularly delighted because the school was invited to the Áras after she wrote to the President twice asking if they could visit.

“She said no first,” she revealed. Then a few weeks ago the school got a call to say they were welcome today. “It’s very exciting,” said Molly. The prince and his fiancee, who has some Kerry roots, had a brief chat with them and he ended the encounter with “go raibh míle maith agat”.

If you ignore the surgery, then I agree. I hope she stops the surgeries.  nervous

She's definately going to be a better breed of Princess for Monaco since she has no majorly torrid past and she simply carries it off so well. She is sleek, a non jet set type, and knows what to wear nad makes sure it covers everything. Albert could not have possibly asked for more considering his circumstances.

Can you imagine a time when the truth ran free ...

Charlene looked lovely! I've a feeling that the wedding in Monaco, with it's maturity & elegance, is going to put this most recent act, which resembled a highschool theater project, to shame. ...

Among other occurrences, I'd have been mortified if people were doing cartwheels down the aisle after I was married!  blink

I agree , I'm more interested in this one, just because I've never seen a Monaco wedding. I'm curious to see how they do things. The old footage of Pr.Ranier's wedding is lovely, but it's in black and white and on youtube , still Grace was amazing, she's still my favorite all time bride.  Kate-Horror-Queen

I can't believe Waity Katey tried to copy her dress, but I'm not surprised though. Princess Grace looked amazing.
