I have to admit after more research on film industry sites, the movie is starting to sound really good.  thumbsup The storyline looks really intriguing, it has "meat" to it.  The script is getting really great buzz.

Kidman portrays actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly in French director Olivier Dahan's drama, which follows Kelly's personal story when, in 1962, she worked behind the scenes to save her city-state from a coup.

Actor playing Pr.Rainier http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000619/  (He's a excellent actor IMO)

Actor playing Hitchcock http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004355/

Actor playing "Father Francis Tucker"  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001449/ (another excellent Actor)

Actress playing "Madge Tivey-Faucon " http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000205/ (wonderful actress, she's playing the Ex-Lady in Waiting to Princess Grace.)

Actress playing Maria Callas http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0891895/

Actor playing Aristole Onassis  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0512305/  (Excellent Actor)

Pictures from earlier in the week of filming. I'll admit these shots gave me pause she looks more like grace in the last years of her life in some of these.

Driving straight from 3901 Henry Ave. in East Falls down to the Schuylkill, particularly at dusk, when the river settles like glass, with three single scullers rowing right out of an Eakins, it's not hard to see why John B. Kelly built his family home there.

The neighbors - not to mention fans of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, around the world - have always known that the 21/2-story brick Georgian home at Henry and Coulter Avenues was the Kelly family home.

Now, everyone who passes by will also know, with the addition of a blue state historical marker outside the home commemorating the Kelly family.

Oh man, what can I say. Nicole looks like Princess Grace the same way Lindsay Lohan looks like Liz Taylor  thumbsdown. Liz and Grace must be turning in their graves right now  nervous

Oh, has anyone here watched the TV movie "The Grace Kelly Story" where actress Cheryl Ladd played Princess Grace? I've read that Her Serene Highness sanctioned the movie shortly before her death. I watched it a few years ago and I liked it  thumbsup

She looks NOTHING like Grace. Just like Naomi Watts looks nothing like Diana.

I have always thought that an actress likely to pull off the role of Grace would be Sonya Walger:

New exhibit to remember Grace Kelly as a hometown girl who never forgot her Philadelphia roots

-The exhibit will make its only U.S. stop at the Michener Art Museum in suburban Doylestown, not far from where Kelly made her professional stage debut at the Bucks County Playhouse in 1949
-The items on display will detail the late star's upbringing, Hollywood career and storybook ascent to royalty

'My beautiful mother': Prince Albert of Monaco's touching tribute to Hollywood star who became a princess as wife Charlene joins him at opening of new exhibition
 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2477837/Prince-Albert-Monaco-offers-touching-tribute-beautiful-talented-mother-Grace-Kelly-opening-new-exhibition-home-town-Philadelphia.html#ixzz2ixvyGF4r

Quote
Elegant in a floor-length burgundy dress, her blond locks swept off her face into a chic chignon, Princess Charlene of Monaco looked every inch the royal style icon at the opening of an exhibition on Saturday night.

But the South African born royal wasn't the only princess to draw the eye at the Michener Art Museum in Philadelphia, where a new Grace Kelly retrospective opens to the public on Monday.

As she toured the exhibition on the arm of her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco, the princess appeared mesmerised by the photographs and artifacts documenting the life of her late mother-in-law.
