Quote from: Kuei Fei
I just read that she bowed her head each time William saluted.

Isn't this tradition?  If not, I think this was done out of respect.

William was saluting when they passed statues of memorials and she was bowing her head in respect.

Quote
WIlliam was close to tears as Prince Harry paid an emotional tribute to their mother Diana in his best man’s speech.
Harry, Master of Ceremonies at William and Kate’s triumphant evening wedding reception, took to his feet in front of 350 of the couple’s closest friends and family.
And there was barely a dry eye as Harry turned to William and told him: “Our mother would be so very proud of you.”
A guest at the Buckingham Palace celebration revealed: “Harry only said a few words, but it was so emotional. The entire room burst into applause.”

Friday's Royal parade was a dying gasp for the Monarchy, not a new beginning. This isn’t wishful thinking. I want the Crown to survive. But I do not think it can do so in a modern Britain that has turned its back on the ideas and habits that make a Monarchy possible.

Almost everything about the day was false, and wherever it touched reality it was worrying rather than reassuring.
The Royal cars trailed to Westminster Abbey between motorcycle outriders with flashing blue lights and Range Rovers crammed with bodyguards.

Thank you Hon.  Kiss I had several published, one with lots of green arrows, but the others with red. I don't mind, I'm used to accepting opposing views, unlike Kate's fans. I enjoyed getting an irrelevant, emotional rise out of them, it's like water off a duck's back for me. lols  laugh  TCP baking cookies

No wedding, ring, no honeymoon ...  shifty

In any case, when they left BP, not ONCE did he give her a loving look. The body language tells all. Holding hands is easy. I put my arm around my mother's back too, you know?  X-Mas_rolleyes

^I remember her mostly because of her name. Who calls their child Kitty??? And especially if you are an aristo with such close ties to the BRF.

Yeah, sigh the cake is so romantic and looks more like a piece of art. -> sugar art! CP Victoria's was too plain for my taste. It looked unfinished to me without the icing piping and fondant flowers.
This one is so beautiful and elaborate that I wouldn't dare cutting it TCP baking cookies

In life nothing happens by accident. we must remember that there are no good that lasts forever. And evil that never ends. God works in mysterious ways. So I just have to accept what happens because we do not know what we gain by things go this way. Not always what initially seems an award is the. This happens when we fall in love, when we found out a new job when a friend disappears or when someone leaves for ever.
