there  It'll all die down soon.  Here in the US there is hardly any mention of it unless you know what shows to look for.

I wrapped 15 gifts in 4 hours at home with another 12 to go.   tired

Too many things to do... tiredwopedo

I’m hesitating on whether I design and made my own made-to-measure library&desk or I just buy these items since it’ll take me a lot of time to do it.  Plus, I need to redo too some new interior design  after just finishing to put new floor into the desk room.

I just took some books put on the floor into the dustbin local of the building. Embarrassed  But hey!  They were new (!!) and some of them were about J.Lennon.  I couldn’t resist neither understand why people would just throw out books - in particularly these ones!

I’m happy to be able to eat again (even a bit of bread)for the first time since ∿48h.  I want to make some coffee or tea... but I’m afraid to p*ke again.

Poor Mousie!  I hope it stops snowing and melts soon!

My brother just returned from active duty in Iraq this week!  He surprised my family by saying he wanted Skype with us; so I go to my room, grab my laptop, then I  go to the den with my mom, dad, and Dave (my older brother).  As soon as I get it set up, Dave calls Chris on his phone, then 3 seconds later Chris walks into the room!!!  We are all so happy!  :reindeerdance:

Another note:  I *despise* finals week.

You mean this:
http://files.myopera.com/edwardpiercy/blog/easycheese-1.jpg
That semi fluid kraft thing the sell in spray cans that smells like cheese but isn't real cheese?
You're right that stuff is rather icky it's full of fat and chemicals it's as far from actual cheese as a steak!

Current fact:
I *despise* when it snows here because people freak out and school is canceled over a light dusting, which always seems to happen when I've stayed up the night before baking cookies or cupcakes for my daughter's preschool.
Last year there was a storm here which the weather guy classified as a Blizzard, where I grew up it would've been classified a regular snow storm and schools would still be open.

There is always an overreaction

With schools ( I work in one ) it's about health and safety and the fear of a child getting hurt. There is also the dilemma of teachers travelling in from various parts.

Although it really is bad here there is a truck parked across the road which I cannot see because the snow comes to above it and if I open my door I will be buried in snow because it comes to 3/4 up the door.
