Denmark's grumpy royal Prince Henrik, 83, accuses Queen Margrethe of not showing him the respect 'a normal wife must give her spouse'

Prince Henrik has announced he will not be buried beside wife Queen Margrethe

The dm buried this one deep. A reason for that?

I am utterly disgusted that these princes think they have some kind of 'right' to a normal household environment despite the fact that their wives are not just wives, but SOVEREIGNS!

Frederik has commented on Henrik:

"-Jeg er rigtig ked af min fars beslutning på rigtig mange områder. Mere er der ikke at sige om denne sag for nuværende, kom det fra en fattet og alvorlig kronprins Frederik til den fremmødte presse på foranledning af et spørgsmål fra Ekstra Bladet."

"I am really sorry for my father's decision in a lot of areas. There is nothing more to say about this case at present," it came from a succinct and serious crown prince Frederik to the press in response to a question from Ekstra Bladet.

The monarchy released the statement today weeks after his remarks about wife
The cruel disease is said to have advanced quicker than expected in the prince

Lene Balleby confirms that he still will be buried in another place, since it has been his wish for a long time.

From google translate

"Following a longer investigation process and most recent studies conducted during the late summer, a specialist team at Rigshospitalet has now concluded that his Royal Highness Prince Henrik suffers from dementia. It informs Queen Margrethe via the court march in a press release.

The diagnosis implies a weakening of the Prince's cognitive function level. The extent of the cognitive failure is, according to Rigshospitalet, greater than expected for the age of the Prince, and can be accompanied by changes in behavior, reaction patterns, judgment and emotional life, and thus also affect the interaction with the outside world, writes the royal house.

As a consequence of the diagnosis, the Prince will further dodge his activities in the future, as well as the protection and protection of honor. It is the Queen and the royal family's wish that the Prince will in future get the peace that the situation requires."

Very sad news, but it explains quite a bit and good that people know, it's a legitimate and good way to excuse him, people will have more understanding.

^  I have suspected this.   Sad.  I believe that Henrik's sons had a difficult relationship with him, but he seemed to be a loving, hands-on grandfather, and it's a shame all those children are missing out on that.
