Duchess of Cambridge is admitted to Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in early stages of labour - on St George's Day

Duchess of Cambridge now in labour with third child at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London
Kate, 36, had Prince George and Princess Charlotte at hospital's private Lindo Wing previously
Supporters have decked out their tents in Union Jacks and put up flags and posters around site
Kate gave birth to George in 10-and-a-half hours after admission, and Charlotte in two-and-a-half

Andrews let slip that Monday is due date. A bit conspicuous imo. Also she's always in early morning in labour..... :-

I've had a feeling it will be a boy. Kate doesn't tend to have very long labours, so we might hear something by about 1pm I reckon. Of course I would be St George's Day! Pity that name has already been taken!

Every labour now she's gone in at 6am. Didn't know babies had watches and a schedule.

Yeah, takes a bit until name is revealed, I think next day or so? I don't remember...

I think the baby was born a little while ago. They've got to phone the relatives on both sides, and get Kate prettied up.

That is what I was thinking also. I know if that were me I would want some time just to myself before announcing to the world that I had delivered.

A boy! I knew it!!! 8)
Gawd have I been clairvoyant recently, I should open a tent and make a career out of it :tehe:

They always announce the birth hours after it actually happens. And after stylist etc leave. If they ever have a 4th, you know the drill. Always admitted at 6 o'clock, gives birth few hours later, announces at ca 13 o'clock and leaves at ca 16 o'clock. Every time. Like it's takeout, ordered and delivered at the same time :sly:

Probably because it's induced labour/ceasarean...
I hope this baby lives a long, healthy and happy life.

I'm betting Philip with perhaps Arthur as a second name.

Congratulations to those who won the bets.

But then all 3 must have been induced, which is ridiculous!
I don't think she's ever had a caesarean, because she wouldn't be able to walk and stand upright if she ever had one.

^^^ Did he say that?

I like that - a much better name than George IMO

President JFK was known as Jack in his private life

Post by: Joanna on April 23, 2018, 01:35:34 pm
^^^ That's true, I've forgotten that she walks out of the hospital in the hours after labour, against what is generally considered good praxis, but we know they're special.

It's not impossible for the 3 of them to be induced, women going to appointments in the private practice of their doctors arrange for when they want their children to be born, literally choosing the date and time of day and go and have the babies in public hospitals. I know it because my cousins have done it, but in their case it was because they had ceasareans for the first birth and then the others had to be induced, because of the risks of tearing the womb in the scar area. But lots of women do it for no other reason than choosing the day their children will be born, which I find horrible.

I wonder is something about to happen there's 3 guards outside the door now.

Title: A new prince has been born!
Post by: HRHOlya on April 23, 2018, 02:25:29 pm
I think that inducing and choosing the date isn't quite right either, unless there's a reason. That is why I find it weird that all 3 births were exactly the same, which points to planning/ inducing Kate, and I don't get it, why would they do that? Terrible enough that Diana had to be induced so the birth of their child didn't clash with Chuck's polo!! Chuck is a man no woman deserves to be with, well except his current wife, they deserve each other...

I think "Jack" is more royal or formal than "Harry" (I find "Harry" very unroyal tbh), and "John" and "Henry" are both great names imo. As is "Jack"; though if that is indeed the name chosen, then it's quite funny as Jack B is about to marry in!

Fly, I think all were around 8lbs.

Meet the team who helped Kate give birth: 20 medical experts were led by Royal Household's surgeon-gynaecologist and Jill Dando's former fiance

Guy Thorpe-Beeston and Alan Farthing oversaw the birth on the Lindo Wing
Both were called in for arrival of Prince George in 2013 and Charlotte in 2015
Mr Farthing was engaged to the BBC's Jill Dando when she was shot dead in 1999

Prince William is expected to leave at around 4pm to see George and Charlotte. It’s looking likely that they will come back and visit their mum and new brother but that’s not confirmed yet.

^^ & ^ Honestly, sth's in the bush.

Come and meet your little brother! Proud father William brings George and Charlotte to Kate's hospital bedside to meet the latest royal arrival

Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to her third child at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London
Kate, 36, gave birth after being taken by car before 6am this morning to hospital's private Lindo Wing
Supporters have decked out their tents in Union Jacks and put up flags and posters around the site
Kate gave birth to George in 10-and-a-half hours after admission, and Charlotte in two-and-a-half

Little Mike and Carole! It's def a "production", no need to drag the kids to the hospital, but good they do this, the kids are hidden away too much anyway.
Nice they meet the new baby at the hospital, maybe that way it feels like less of an intrusion when another siblings demands mummy Maria's mummy & daddy's attention.

I guess they'll leave at around 18 o'clock.

C was adorable indeed! G was certainly not amused, quite grumpy. :tehe: :tehe:

'Thrice worry now!' Kate and Wills present their third child to the world as proud dad jokes: 'We didn't keep you waiting too long this time!'

Duchess of Cambridge has emerged outside the Lindo Wing with her third child the Prince of Wales
She gave birth to the healthy baby boy at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London earlier today

Well, it seems that George hates the press like his dad... and Charlotte love the camera just like mum and Pippa!

Don't kill me but this one is not so cute like his siblings!

Well, I think that she had the baby induced... not a crime, but coming out so quickly don't think that is a good idea, something that I do not agree at all.

In my country you have to stay in the hospital for 2 days for a natural birth, always with those mean nurses! C.Section is 3 to 4 days!

Regarding names: Can we an Arthur now? Thomas is also good!

How long do you think until they release the baby's name? IIRC, we got Charlotte's name the same day she was born, but a few hours after they had left the hospital. I could be mistaken on that though.

I don't want Charles as name either and I find Albert too old, makes me always think of Vic's Albert and the 1800s.. Charlotte is the female form of Charles and also a variant of Carole and it's Pip's middle name, so at least 3 members of the family from both sides have been honoured with that name only, all the other names can also be traced back to both sides and to immediate family as well (i.e. you don't have to go back too many generations to find all the names, on both sides). Charles, therefore, has arguably already been honoured, and George is rumoured to be Charles's chosen name as king, and Chuck and G share the name George, so I think Charles has been honoured plenty, whether that was a conscious decision or not.

Elizabeth is Liz's name, Liz the qmum, Carole's (I think) and Kate's middle name. Diana is self-explanatory. James's middle name is I've been told William, and G's Alexander and Louis are found in Will's name (Louis) and arguably queen Alexandra, though not sure to whom the name Alexander can all be traced back to.
A possible choice as middle name is Francis, after Mike Midd (Michael Francis Midd) and Diana (Frances Spencer). I think Philip is a possible choice as well, along with Arthur. Arthur Francis Philip?

Tbh I never found any of the kids cute, though found C quite charming today, very sweet! And this one looks just like his older siblings (saw a photo montage of all 3 on day of birth/ presentation outside the Lindo Wing). Makes me suspect he's going to look all Midd just like G&C!

Sadly, hospitals in most countries kick you out asap. For some ailments people used to be in hospital for 2 weeks, now it's down to 4 days. Pregnancy the same.. Women used to stay at the hospital for nearly a week ages ago, now they kick 1st time mothers out the next day and with any subsequent birth the same day. With a c-section they give you a couple of days, but also kick you out I think something like as soon as you can make it to the loo on your own. It's nuts.

George (son of Jane), Alexander (son of Sarah) and Louis (heir of Charles S) are DIANA'S nephews

Charlotte and George were names of former princes of cambridge (they were married IIRC). There's a former countess spencer named charlotte, she designed the island where diana is buried (at least thought to be at).
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/13869450/charlotte-frances_frederica-spencer

imo it's very telling of father-son relations the fact george has  no charles or philip as middle name

I remember when Zara had Mia we found out via twitter with Mike saying that she had been out of hospital 6 hours after giving birth and that was in an NHS hospital not a private one like Kate. There were then many reports that that is the norm in the UK - 6 - 7 hours after a natural birth if all has gone well - which would seem to be exactly what has happened here.

^^ Interesting that George has all Spencer offsprings' first names...

Btw, when and how did G&C leave? They arrived with full effect for the media, but did they then leave like G back when C was born through the backdoor with nanny Maria?

Let's see didn't KM single white female Princess Diana each time? She wore blue polka dots dress with George in her arms and yellow? with Charlotte? Is this the first time she wore her hoooker hills?  bignono

Ma will keep giving orders just to increase Waity's chances of remaining in the RF.  At least she didn't jump the queue for a visit his time as was advised to keep away.  Her ghastly grinning triumphant face on the steps of the Lindo wing with George's arrival didn't go down well with the RF.

Kate and William upgrade to a new £60,000 seven-seater Land Rover Discovery to welcome the birth of their new prince

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital in a Land Rover last night
It will have offered Kate plenty of legroom after she gave birth to a third child
The Discovery range the couple used costs between £46,000 and £60,000

Why royal baby number three will be different: Kate is set to stay out of the limelight to bond with the new arrival after returning to work 'too soon' after having George and Charlotte

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a son, yesterday
Kate, 36, is set to extend her maternity leave from royal duties until the Autumn
After George's birth she carried out her first engagement within six weeks
She was back on duty within two months of having Princess Charlotte
She may want to savour time with her 'last baby' and let Meghan take spotlight

All I remember is that it was said when they married that she wants 3 kids like her parents had (have). I never ever expected for them to go for a 3rd (for the forstiness between the Cambs alone and the countless nannies the kids are shoved off to, plus Bill's constant complaining), but I do think they are done now, because she now has 3 like the Midds. If she goes for a 4th, it'll to be "like Liz". But a 4th will go down like a lead balloon, the 3rd already has, cause you know, as Bill said we shouldn't have too many children, max 2, for the environment :sly:

Picking up tips Pippa? Kate Middleton's pregnant sister is among royal baby's first visitors as Prince Charles jokes 'I don't know how I'll be able to keep up with' his THREE grandchildren

Pregnant Pippa Middleton today visited her new royal nephew at Kensington Palace just 24 hours after his birth.

The Duchess of Cambridge's 34-year-old sister was seen leaving the residence in West London this afternoon after spending two hours with the newborn baby, who is fifth-in-line to the throne.

Pippa smiled broadly through her car window, wearing a baby pink coat, pink turtleneck and brown tortoiseshell sunglasses. Her visit came before gun salutes were fired in Hyde Park and Tower Bridge to mark the birth.

Prince Charles, who will soon visit his new grandson, said today: 'We are both so pleased at the news. It is a great joy to have another grandchild, the only trouble is I don't know how I am going to keep up with them.'

The Prince of Wales will visit his grandson after returning from Anzac Day centenary commemorations of the Battle of Villers-Bretonneux in France on April 25, 1918.

Meanwhile William and Kate's closest relatives are being kept in the dark over the new name, with the Countess of Wessex saying today: 'The jury's out on that one. I don't know, we're all just going to have to wait and see!'

This is the only reason why she had another child - to take extra time off work. There's no need for such a large family, especially with taxpayers funding each sprog.

And, wow, what a woman. There's speculation that the announcement of the new baby's name has been delayed until Charles gets a chance to see him, maybe tomorrow. The POW has been in France at a WWI commemorative ceremony.

I doubt exrtemely that they are waiting so Chuck can see him. It hasn't mattered before, with the 2 who are dynastically more important, whether Chuck or Liz saw them before the names were revealed. They all know the names anyway and the names were approved before Cambs3 was even born, I bet.

But I do think that today was going on too much and they decided to postpone to tomorrow (Anzac, Murkles and that sick boy -Alfie Evans- were dominating the headlines). Though they are straying from their routine which is laid out to the minute, the Cambs can be unpredictable and eat a cookie instead of a doughnut!!

^^^ I have no doubt that at least one of them will be a troublemaker!! Charlotte is very Goldsmith, you just watch!!

Also bollocks that they're waiting for Chuck to see Cambs3 first, he can't and doesn't see the 1st 2 regularly and had to whine to the press.
The Midds are the only who go see their grandkids/ nieces/ nephew and parents immediately, and as press hungry as they are, I don't blame them one bit, that's pretty normal in my book.

When Bill made his appearance this afternoon for the Anzac memorial service, that's when I had a feeling that they wouldn't reveal the name today.

I also think it's got to do with them wanting to use the press with maximum effect, the name today just won't make as much news with Anzac & Alfie Evans as it likely will tomorrow.

^ Neither do I. I was wondering as well. Seemed weird. But Eug is also due to move into KP soon, maybe she just went there to oversee her renovations :tehe:
Though it's said that Bea is on very bad terms (or just still doesn't like the Midd sisters) because of their bullying and mean girl behaviour and that Eugenie has forgiven, because she can't stay too long mad at people.... :dontknow: I was also wondering how it can be that Eug went to KP, but 1. many people, incl soon her, live at KP and 2. I was reminded of what I wrote above in the "insiders" thread.

Congratulations to those who picked the date and that it was to be a boy.

It will be interesting to see if the name follows one of the children of King George and Queen Charlotte ... maybe Frederick who was Duke of York (second son). It would be good to include Philip in the name.

If the Prince has the first name of Frederick, this would also honor Frederick Louis, Prince of Wales, who was the father of George III.

Frederick is also found in Diana's direct line. A good name, I like it, though I don't like the popular short "Fred", "Freddie" is better...

wtf are they keeping the name secret so long for? The announcement of the day was that Bill's gonna be Hazza's best man, now that was such a surprise :sly: they felt like they did enough work for the day, switched off the computers and deserted the office... smh.

Also Friday is the news dump day, usually you publ Fridays what you want the public to forget, never good news.

Anyway, seems Cambs3's name is Albert

Is this the strongest clue yet that Kate and Wills will name their new Royal Baby Prince ALBERT? Royal website makes hint as public desire for an answer reaches fever pitch with online demands

Windsors' website has a page bearing the phrase 'access denied' under Albert
It is the same greeting that appears when users try to view Prince George's page
Attempts to view other names simply result in a 'Page Not Found' greeting

This one's funny actually:

Magazine is blasted for its heavily edited cover image of Kate and William with their newborn son - complete with deep tans and ultra-white teeth

New Zealand's Woman's Day features edited snap of royals on the cover
Duchess has more voluminous hair and tanned skin, Williams teeth were whiter
Offending image was shared on Twitter by TV presenter Hilary Barry
Said the picture proved the 'world's gone completely mad'

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5661531/Magazine-blasted-heavily-edited-cover-image-Kate-William.html

It's funny because in the original Waity has basically 2 black holes for eyes and the photoshop pic gave her actual eyes :tehe:
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/newpix/2018/04/26/17/4B94689600000578-0-image-a-1_1524759413703.jpg

PS I don't find that Albert is a strong name, as Bill said. Alexander is imo, but Alexander is one of G's names, so the chances that Cambs3's name is Alexander are fairly slim.

I believe he wants a name, and the establishment is not allowing, and they're in arm-twisting, you see, and he's too hard-headed to give up easy ... I do not know, i dont know him .... Or maybe they're waiting for the site page to be ready with the name Albert to advertise :cookie:

^^ Seriously :wopedo:
Also, if it does turn out to be "Albert", means even the website is already online, and yet "they are still working on it", ergo: he's lying lying lying.

Besides, they always choose 3 names, they can never convince me 1. they didn't know the gender and 2. didn't have the names set and already approved by Liz going into the hospital. Come on!

PW should choose a really awesome and unusual name like Catterick. Other possible place names: London, English (just no for too many reasons), Barbuda, Coco (as in the island), Scotland, Navarra, Paris... or PW can go ancient Celtic but please no Guillaume, Guillermo or Liam... just no... :tehe:

This also proves that they were lying when they said they were waiting for Chuck to meet Cambs3 and then announce. Chuck was officially due to meet Cambs3 today, and yet, no announcement, because "they are still working on it", even though a website apparently already exists.

Title: Re: A new prince has been born!

We do not know him as a person, so it's very difficult to predict, but, or one, he wants a name and the establishment wants another, and they are seeing who is stronger, or two, the name Albert is already right and they are waiting for the page on the site to be ready to announce, or three, they are hoping to pass the anxiety of the people to want to know the name, to be able to calmly announce. But if he chose Albert, it's not a strong name, it's a common name .... I do not like this name, I do not have fond good memories of people with that name, my former business partner  who gave me a lot of trouble had This name, but there are people who like  this name... If I had to speak a beautiful name: David, James, Frances, and so many others, but the child is theirs, then the final decision has to come from within their hearts ... On the day I adopt my son or have my first son he will be called David. :cookie:

If it's Albert, Diana must be turning in her grave. She was adamant Harry wouldnt to be a Albert! She thought it was so old! The Queen must to be putting pressure on them re:Albert name ^ if it turns to be albert i expect he to be ultimate rebel, more of a republican than dad

Then he wants name baby John as Diana's dad. Diana wanted William being named John. If he gets that he'll sure makes his mother very proud of him and the next time exactly when he abdicates :laundry: no matters the feelings of carole about that :Kate:

BTW I know there was a Earl Spencer named Albert, iirc correctly it was Johnnies dad, paternal grandfather of Diana

Well, if history is anything to go by, they'll probably settle for something ordinary and dull.  If so, that's a shame because now is their one big chance to have a little something different.  It'd be kind of fun if they could name him Henry so we'd have little Prince Harry and, well, that would be jolly.

I called bs instantly on the excuse "they are waiting on Chuck to see Cambs3 1st before releasing the name", yesterday was supposed to be it, but nope.
These articles sound more like the truth. Much closer to home.

Sunday would be a bad time, as is Friday and Saturday too, because the weekend nothing really happens and Fridays (esp in the evening) is when you dump news you want people to overlook/ quickly forget. That alone makes it weird that the Cambs drag this out to the weekend. News you want everyone to see, you publush usually Wednesdays.

Weird on the Louis, G has already Louis in his name :-

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge."

Perhaps they just liked the sound of it, and Charles's mentor and Philip's uncle was Lord Louis Mountbatten. Also there was his father, Philip's grandfather, Prince Louis Battenberg.

A clear nod to the Mountbatten's and Charles.

Three of Charles' names are now in the boys - Charles, Arthur and George.

Sorry not to see Philip in there but Louis was the name, as someone else has pointed out, of Philip's grandfather (who died when he was about a year old - hope that isn't a precursor of Philip's future) as well as Uncle 'Dickie' who did so much to encourage Philip and Elizabeth's relationship and was a great mentor to Charles in the place of the grandfather's he really never had.

Charles had the connection to Mountbatten, not William. Odd choice.

Louis Charles sounds like the name of several French princes.

Will they call him Lou?

Some in the comments choice are complaining that Kate should have given a nod to her own family--and used Michael as a middle name.

^It's Louis Arthur

Well it's  MUCH BETTER than Albert!

Remember Louis XIV guys! Maybe William is his fan

I highly doubt it has anything to do with Mountbatten...

There was at least another Charles Earl Spencer (grandfather of Johnnie)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Spencer,_6th_Earl_Spencer

And obviously the 1rst son of Charles Spencer, next Earl Spencer is a Louis

Mountbatten was Prince Philip's mentor and helped raise Philip. He also was Charles' Honorary Grandfather.

I was hoping for Alexander Louis

If Zara has a son maybe she'll name him Philip and Prince Philip fan have one of the great grandchildren named after him. Or Harry and Meghan could have a PRince Philip.

I think Charles would be more likely to be a fan of Louis XIV (the Sun King) than William

I hope William's cousin Louis Spencer will be named a godfather.

Alexander Louis are 2 last names of George.

I think it telling with 2 sons there's no Philip, William must knows about the bad feelings between mummy and grandpa... Maybe what he saw of Diana telling in Settlen tapes (re:Philip) was enough to him. Probably he knows since a pre-teen his mother loathed his paternal grandfather, with good reasons.

If Harry name any son Philip it's not any tribute to his mother.

I'm glad there's no Albert in baby's name

William is very passive-agressive with the Windsors... BTW charles is name of man who shamed the windsors PUBLICLY at their lowest almost 21 years ago and louis is the name of heir of THAT man (brother of diana, the woman who wanted destroy the monarchy)

Probably he wanted name the baby John known as Jack but the queen told 'NO WAY'... Then he and kate look for others names to shows their passive aggressiveness... I dont think they wanted pick a middle Georges name, but probably felt forced to that

Louis, eh?  How on earth is that a "strong" name outside of France?  These people are too weird for me today.

I don't like it.  It's just a touch too frilly for the son of a man who is such a wimp.

Maybe Zara will do the honors and if she has a boy name him Philip (her mother and Philip were close).

Charles ,maternal grandmother and Mountbatten were at odds for much of the time.  I wonder how Camilla feels since Mountbatten did not want Charles to marry her. I don't think she would be too fond of him.

I wonder if Will remembers how Mountbatten's daughters trashed his mother.

The Spencer connection is obvious, dianab. Since not only did Uncle Charles Spencer name one child Louis he has another called Charlotte Diana. William used the same names.

RICHARD KAY: Charles still hasn’t seen the newborn prince because he has a difficult relationship with William

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-5662885/RICHARD-KAY-Charles-seen-newborn-prince-yet.html

I do not agree with this journalist, that PW only stays close to Charles when he needs money ..... PW has a good heart, he was his mother's best friend, and when a child has the sensitivity to be the best friend of a mother, it is because he has a good heart. I believe in PW's affection for Charles.
As for depending on the father, I also depend on mine in part, and this brings me deep anguish. Because I've spent a lot of time struggling with a company, I've been stolen by my former business partner, and now I'm tempted to get up. Today I have a law firm with a few clients, I help my brother financially, Im doing two faculties (writing and accounting), a law specialization, and I'm trying to open a real estate business. Why am I saying this? Because PW seems to be very smart, and I believe that if he finds something that he enjoys, since he is not prevented from pursuing professional activity, Charles seems to have some stores there in London no? If PW starts using his intelligence to pursue business he goes far, and soon he who will be helping financially the entire Royal family.
PW just needs to put his knees on the ground to pray and reach God's direction, take good care to pray on this journey from Jerusalem, and move on that he goes far, and he has a potencial to help a lot of people around the globe, its just he wants to...

Louis would have been good as a middle name, but not as first name.

Nicholas would have bee a good first name. David could have been used as a Middle name (although Harry might use it as a middle name if he has a son).

David is a lovely middle name. The only thing I don't see as ok in Louis is that if they had decided to go with a name that's not English or traditional they could at least chose a trendier modern version of the name like Louie.

There are Royal links to the names of the Cambridge children of course, but there are also some outstanding Spencer ones.

Prince George Alexander Louis. William's cousins George McCorqudale, Alexander Fellowes, sons of Sarah nd Jane, Diana's sisters, and Louis Spencer, son of Charles Earl Spencer. William and Harry are close to their aunts.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Earl Spencer's daughter is Charlotte Diana.

Prince Louis Arthur Charles. Charles is the name of William's Spencer uncle. Louis is the name of his heir, Viscount Althorp.

The antichrist? No. By the bible before the Antichrist comes the church will be raptured. And the church is still on earth, the Holy Spirit is still on earth, people still speak strange tongues, have visions, revelations within the church, and the church waits and prays eagerly for the rapture. I am still here, my brothers in Christ we are still all here. After the Rapture, yes, the antichrist will appear on the scene for a new world order. And the church that I say is the church body of Christ, which announces the return of Jesus, the rapture, where the members are baptized with the Holy Spirit, has revelations, visions, I'm not talking about the catholic church, although there are many people within the Catholic Church who are saved because they live in communion with God. But the Catholic church deviated from the project when it entered into idolatry, the people  of God were taken captive to Babylon because it sought idolatry once, made human figures as saints to replace God, as the god Baal, ishta, and so on.
But who am I to say who is saved or not ... I can only say that by bible the Antichrist will only take power after God withdraws the church from the face of the Earth, to preserve his servants from what is to come. And PW he will one day be head of the church, God will charge the church shepherds, sheep for the sheep of the flock, being head of a church is not enjoying the pleasures and riches of the world, but it is praying and humbling before God in favor of every member of this church, because one day all this will be charged...

Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer resides at Althorp. Does Althorp have a chapel? If Althorp does have a chapel, could the christening of Prince Louis take place there?

Title: Re: A new prince has been born!

Why would Louis's christening take place at Althorp, or rather in the nearby parish church of St Mary's where many Spencers are buried in the vaults? Neither of the Cambridges are members of the Spencer family. It depends on when the christening takes place as to where it's held IMO. Could be at St James Chapel near KP, or maybe down at Sandringham in the summer, like Charlotte, whose birthday is coming up.

Honestly, I think you're onto sth. Will's and Charles's relationship is fraught and it is no coincidence that Kay wrote a piece on it. No way is this kid named after Chuck. All 3 sprogs' names are classic names and it is inevitable they appear in the Windsor, Spencer and Middleton trees many times over, but it does feel very much like W&K went after Spencer names and the Spencer connection for all 3. Whatever happened in the 1980s and more importantly in the 1990s, Will and Harry I'm sure know the truth, and the family relationship within is known to be dysfunctional, pile on that what happened to Di (at supposedly Phil's orders) and yeah, you have a recipe for disaster. Why would they name their children after the men (Chuck, Phil) and women (Liz, Liz t q mum, Margaret) who trampled all over their mother? Plus, never underestimate the Diana card :sigh:

I don't like the name "Louis", sounds quite odd in English (my guess is they pronounce it English "Luis" and not French "Lui"?), but there you go. Better than "Albert".

I feel like they nailed it with G&C and tanked it with L.... Also, why not choose names not connected to anyone in particular? Madeleine is a beautiful name, classic but novel to the Winds. Or outright "Alexander" as 1st name. Sure, it's inevitable some of the family will share names, but draw just a tiny bit outside the box.. Which I guess they actually did with "Louis". Oh well :sigh:

Heartwarming, ignore your own grandson for a week and then go to coincide it with your granddaughter's birthday, one stone, two birds. :sigh:

Very believable that Chuck and Bill don't have the best relationship, that rumour has been going for ages, then the tug-of-war in the media (C complaining the Cambs don't let him see his grandkids) and Kay's piece in the dm... Harry is said to have a better relationship with Chuck.
As shyte as the Cambs seem to be, it's equally Chuck's fault for having such a terrible relationship with his son and grandkids, you gotta be fair. He's a very difficult man, more set in his ways than a century old train. I bet he wants to see his grandkids, but all on his terms and conditions. Doesn't work that way, you gotta take, but you also gotta give..
